Pregnancy Circles
Pregnancy Circles with Centred Women are a space for you to navigate your journey to Motherhood. Pregnancy is one of our greatest rites of passage and an incredibly transformational time that is often overwhelmed with practical preparations and external focus on birth and physiological changes.

Pregnancy Circles are a safe and supportive space to gather with other women and explore the inner landscape of pregnancy, the outer physical changes and the emotional journey you are undergoing as you prepare for the birth of your baby.

The journey to motherhood begins with pre-conception and in our culture we have very few places to come to gather to share what can sometimes be a long and difficult journey. Each pregnancy is different, and each separate pregnancy may be different for a single individual. Pregnancy Circles are a safe space to come and share the hopes and joys, the fears and the challenges of pregnancy.

You will be held by a group of supportive women, creating, if you wish, a village to support you through birth and beyond.

Pregnancy Circles are a space to gather, to share stories and experiences and to listen with deep presence. It’s a space completely free from judgement and unsolicited advice.

Anna is trained in holding space with Sister Stories, is a qualified breastfeeding peer supporter and holds a qualification in Understanding Domestic Abuse. Pregnancy Circles are a completely confidential and advice-free zone but Anna recognises that pregnancy and motherhood is a vulnerable time and many women struggle silently with complex issues.
Centred Women’s primary aim is to provide Women with a space to find their inner voice, but Anna wants to stress that she is qualified, experienced and capable of being a listening ear and signposting individuals to appropriate support services if they feel that is an appropriate and necessary route.

What to expect
Pregnancy Circles with Centred Women follows a very simple framework, beginning with a guided meditation followed by a simple reflective question and an invitation for individual introduction. The space is then opened up for open sharing, where you are welcomed to give voice to whatever you wish to share. Silence is equally welcome and deep listening is practised. The space is closed by a round of closing reflections.
